Summary:

Perform full maintenance of residential and commercial swimming pools with or without supervision. Completes assigned daily tasks on time and has open communication with the overseeing manager. Ensure quality service and a high customer satisfaction rate.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist in Pool Opening and Closing
  • Maintain private and public swimming pools, hot tubs, wading pools
  • Arrive on time and follows the daily schedule of assigned pools, approximately 6-12 pools per day
  • Maintain the proper chemical balance for the pool
  • Transports and stores chemicals
  • Maintain an automated record of all activities and submit a report via email/text/app to the office after each pool visit
  • As needed, operates vehicles to transport himself or herself between assigned pools, at times in heavy traffic.
  • Deliveries
  • Transport various types of materials and equipment
  • Clean and service swimming pool filtration system
  • Use a swimming pool vacuum cleaner to clean the pool floor
  • Use a telescopic pole with a net to clean and remove any leaves or derbies
  • Scrub pool floors and walls using a brush
  • Check pool filtration motor and equipment and report malfunctions
  • Assist in pool winterization
  • Attend meetings as scheduled by the manager
  • Complies and enforces Company standards
  • Safely performs all duties and reports any unsafe conditions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Pool acid washing
  • Pool/deck pressure washing
  • Construction assistant as needed(cut,chip,prep pool, digging, etc…)

Job Specifications

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Ability to work outdoors for extended lengths of time (sun and allergies).
  • Ability to communicate well and work with/without direct supervision.
  • Good attention to detail and knowledge of safe cleaning techniques is also required.
  • Has demonstrated written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Has a high level of professionalism
  • Look presentable and wear uniform provided by company
  • Can maintain confidentiality and use discretion in all interactions.

Safety and security – Observes safety and security procedures. Use equipment properly. Report potentially unsafe conditions.

Customer Service – Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

Physical Requirements – While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, walk, carry, reach with hands, kneel, crouch or crawl, push, pull, Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Able to work in inclement weather.

Reasoning Ability – to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Certificates, Licenses, registrations: Poses a valid Driver license is a MUST.

Related work experience: at least 1 year of aquatic experience is preferred but not required. We provide paid training.

Confidentiality – Must keep information about the company confidential during or after this employment term & agreement.

Scheduling requirements – The job requires evenings and weekends as needed to meet operational demands or deadlines. The typical workweek is 6 days – Monday – Saturday, Sunday OFF.
